Invitation to Submit a Paper
IJEMT is accepting paper submissions!
You’re invited to submit a manuscript for review and publication in the Winter 2026 edition.
The International Journal for Educational Media and Technology (IJEMT) is an international, peer-reviewed journal committed to advancing scholarship in educational media and technology across Asia and the Pacific.
IJEMT uses the Open Journal System (OJS) for all submissions and reviews. Please ensure that at least one author on your team has an active OJS account to facilitate the submission process.
Timeline for Authors
September 1, 2026 – Submit full papers via the Open Journal System (OJS) portal
October 15, 2026 – Manuscripts reviewed by the IJEMT Editorial Board
November 1, 2026 – Notification of acceptance sent to authors
November 30, 2026 – Submit revised and final manuscripts
- January 2027 – Winter 2026 issue published
Submission Guidelines
Your manuscript should follow IJEMT’s submission guidelines. Based on common feedback from reviewers, we recommend the following:
The Introduction should clearly define the research purpose and significance, and include research questions that align with a theoretical framework.
Include a review of relevant literature, either as a dedicated section (e.g., Literature Review, Research Background, or Instructional Context) or integrated within the introduction.
Present data using tables or figures where appropriate. Visuals are especially helpful for international readers whose first language may not be English.
While article structures may vary, many reviewers recommend the standard format: Introduction, Literature Review, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
As noted on the IJEMT submissions page:
“A manuscript is judged on the basis of originality, scholarship, clarity of discourse, and significance, as well as the degree to which the subject matter contributes to the practice of media studies in educational practices.”
